Operating Theatre Manager – OTMA002
We are looking for an Operating Theatre Manager to become a key member of the Hospital team.
Requirements:
- Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse
- Operating Theatre qualification would be advantageous
- Experience in an operating theatre environment, some in a supervisory or leadership role
- Familiarity with IPC
- A passion for expert treatment and exceptional care
Responsibilities include:

Overall co-ordination of the day-to-day activity of the Operating Theatre including
-
leading, co-ordinating, motivating and developing the clinical and non-clinical teams

providing a safe environment for all users
-
development and implementation of policies
-
coordination of Theatre slate scheduling
-
stock and billings control for efficiency
-
clinical performance and outcomes
-
- Infection prevention and control co-ordination for the Hospital
- Clinical in-service education programme co-ordination
- Engagement with all Theatre users
- Provision of a safe environment for patient care, including compliance aspects, infection prevention and control and development.

Organisational structure – Reporting to the Hospital Manager
Commencement date – 1 January 2025
